One of the many great things about working at Café Grumpy, specifically in Park Slope, is that James McNew of Yo La Tengo comes in regularly. I get to make him a macchiato and we talk about music.

I finally got my new license in the mail today and boy was I excited to see my picture. NOT. The funny face I thought I made is the face of a serial killer. It’s so bad I might lose my license on purpose so I can go in and take a new photograph.
What the fuck was I thinking? I’m not funny in the face, only in the drunk.
